10 im Quadrat
As part of the 10 im Quadrat project by SZ Junge Leute, ten Munich-based photographers captured ten local artists in unique, creative portraits. My approach focused on the power of words and identity, blending text and imagery to create a deeper, more personal connection. Each artist—actors, musicians, and comedians—was asked to write down a piece of text that had shaped their identity. Some chose song lyrics, lines from past roles, or quotes that influenced their thinking. These handwritten words became an integral part of their portraits, visually interwoven into the images to reflect their artistic expression. This series explores the intersection of photography, typography, and personal storytelling, revealing how words shape creative identities.
